There’s something incredibly special about senior sessions. Especially when it’s with the sweetest girl! It’s more than just getting photos for your instagram or grad card — it’s about celebrating a huge milestone with a person who’s on the edge of something big. And when your senior has a vibrant personality, a contagious laugh, and a fearless sense of fun? That’s when the magic really happens.

Recently, I had the absolute joy of photographing one such senior, Sarah! From the moment she stepped out of the car, I could tell this session was going to be full of energy and personality. She came ready with outfits that showed off her style — bold colors, cool sneakers, and bubbles!! You heard that right, bubbles!! 

What stood out the most was how comfortable she was in front of the camera. We danced (yes, literally danced) through a field, played with the bubbles, and even tried a few spontaneous poses that had us both cracking up. Her confidence wasn’t about being perfect — it was about being real. And that realness? It photographs beautifully.

There were goofy moments! We talked about her future plans, her favorite music, and her excitement for what’s next. That spark — the one that only a graduating senior can have — is exactly what I aim to capture in every frame.

By the end of the session, my cheeks hurt from laughing so much and blowing the bubbles!! And when I got home and started editing, I couldn’t stop smiling. Every photo felt like her — full of life, expression, and heart.
